Your domain name (or URL) is what potential customers will type into their browser address bar to access your website (yourbusiness.com). You can use that domain name to create branded email, such as [email protected]. This price is for initial registration of a standard .com domain name (some extensions do cost more).

The .com portion of a domain is called a TLD (Top Level Domain), and because it seems most of the good .coms are taken these days, don’t be afraid to consider .co, .net, or industry specific TLD’s like .ai or .art for your website. Domain names are purchased through a registrar, which is separate from a website host (although many hosts offer domain name registration).
